Lots of red shoes on grass

A girl can never have too many shoes, it would seem, and at least a few of us can never have too many red shoes. For those of us who are lovers of red shoes, this photograph is a virtual pictorial paradise. This is quite the collection of crimson footwear, including a strappy stiletto, several open toed slip-ons, shapely heeled shoes, a red leather moccasin, a red converse running shoe, and my personal favourite, a heeled red leather boot. Any shoe lover would be quite satisfied with this collection and any red shoe fan would be quite over the moon about it. Our congratulations and respect to the original owner. Never has a more fashionable replacement of red autumn leaves laid out on grass been conceived.

Ornate red leather diary

A diary is a beautiful and personal thing, not to mention a remarkably useful tool if you are someone who lives in the realm of ideas. There is much said about little black books but red books are not to be underestimated. A red leather diary reminds you that it’s there, a very important effect for the procrastinating note-taker. Not all of us will be lucky enough to find an intricate leather-work piece such as this — that inset stone makes it most magical — but a serious looking leather-bound diary in red will remind you to write often and make sure you take what you right seriously, which is a good thing, even if you only scribble nonsensical thoughts frequently.

The amount of red wood, red leather, and red metal in this image is almost pornographic. But what a way to use it! Classic cars are a joy, and when a classic car is finished to this level of beauty, red or no red, you have to appreciate a thing of beauty and exquisite engineering. Steering wheels and dashboards are much ignored parts of car imagery, but some of them do deserve plenty of your attention. And I’m not even a car nut.
