Wall Fountain of Red Brick

The rudimentary wall fountain stands inset into a stark white-washed wall. From the look of the mud-red trough into which the water falls, this is probably meant to be a public drinking fountain. I love the quaint practicality of the untreated red bricks and cement that form the archway behind the fountain, and make it so clearly visible against the white wall. I’m sure this is meant to be white-washed like the rest of it, to fit in and look perfect, but there is a beauty in its current imperfect state.
