Steady Red Rain in the City

This night shot of a city scape near water has nothing that screams out the colour red when you first see it, but it’s in there. This shot is taken during a steady rain, which you can see in the disturbed surface of the water. The atmosphere is dense with a million rain drops, so the air around those red neon signs at the top of the towers glows with a warm halo. Without that red glow this would be just another boring night shot of buildings.
