Monks in a Red Alleyway

Most people think of red as a passionate colour, full of vigour and violence. But passion has many aspects, and this wonderful image of a pair of monks walking down an alleyway steeped in sunlight is a great example. Everything about this image is red, it’s almost monochromatic, but it’s also very peaceful and contains a sense of immense calm.
